Soundsketch Digital MultiEffect
The Soundsketch is a SMD (surface mount) open source digital guitar pedal platform developed by GuitarML (based on a modified version of the DaisySeedProjects 125B pedal) and designed around the very capable Daisy Seed chip by Electro-Smith. It features buffered stereo input and output, as well as expression and midi input via full size 1/4" TRS jacks. The project scope includes having a pcb manufactured (JLCpcb or PCBway recommended), soldering and assembling the pedal, and uploading the effects software. GuitarML doesn't sell kits, it is truly a "Do It Yourself" kind of project. Several of the Funbox modules have been ported to Soundsketch, as they share the same basic controls, minus the dip switches. A major improvement over the Funbox is no noise. SMD design, 4 layer with internal ground shielding, and spacing of analog and digital sections contribute to the noise reduction.
